   Update! I moved my drive from the Athlon to the PIII SV24 and now AC'97   
   audio works! (I still encounter some problems with big apps such as Head   
   Over Heels for example but nothing I can't get over :-)   
      
   I don't know what the heck happened there, probably I messed up my Audio   
   drivers somewhere
