|    VIA ethernet woes    |

From: angelfire1a@yahoo.com              Greetings all              I'm trying to get my beos v5 new install ethernet connection to work.       I have the drivers installed correctly (VIA Rhine), I think, it shows       as enabled. But I'm getting no connection.              I had the same problem before with Linux and I had to append "noapic"       to lilo.conf and then it worked straightaway with no further tweaking.              My guess is that I need to do something similar here, but I don't know       how to accomplish this. I've looked at the kernel.sample in       /boot/home/config/settings/drivers/sample but I don't see a similar       line (the closest is to disable bios calls) but that doesn't seem to       help.              Any ideas please?       AF              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
