From: this-isnt-my-real-address@freenet.co.uk              in all my wisdom, i bought a refurb laptop. Low spec, cheap, with a lan       card. All i want it for is typing, and journals etc, nothing fancy.              I don't like windows, and have used BeOS before (musician), and wondered if       it would be possible/viable to transfer it to the laptop via a serial cable.              Would it even realise that there was a serial cable trying to send stuff to       it? would my pc even realise there was summat on the other end of the cable?              advice?              thanks for any help guys,              vicky              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
