   If you try building a PC with similar specs to a PowerMac G5 you'd   
   probably surprised that the G5 isn't that expensive, it just a lot of   
   high-end hardware.   
   I currently have 2GB of RAM in my G5, with the option to go up to 16GB   
   when 2GB DIMMs become available. If I wanted the same possibility from a   
   PC I had to build an Opteron or Itanium system, and I doubt that these   
   would be cheaper than or as silent as the PowerMac G5.
