Common use is that is configured as DHCP, is your network card working       >in Zeta? can you ping the modem or anything else in your network?              PPPoE is PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol - *dial-up*) over Ethernet. I       don't pretend to know WTF that's supposed to mean (I've always thought       of PPP and Ethernet to be mutually exclusive) but I do know that it       requires client software on your end. Check here - this includes a list       of ISPs that it is known to work with (as of 2001, hasn't been       updated...):        http://beospppoe.sourceforge.net/       (The link to download it is broken - go here to get it:)        http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=16291              BeBits has a driver that says it's designed for ADSL, but I don't       suppose it would hurt to try it:        http://www.bebits.com/app/1707              If neither of those work for you, just Google for it:        http://www.google.com/search?q=pppoe+client+beos       --       auric "underscore" "underscore" "at" hotmail "dot" com       *****       Microsoft - because God hates us.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
