   I picked up an older NetVista box and installed BeOS on it. The box   
   contains a CD ROM drive as well as a CD Burner. I would like to get CD   
   burning working in BeOS and have not had much success.   
      
   The CD Drive is connect as a slave drive and the Burner is set as   
   master both are on the same channel. The other channel has the hard   
   drive. The CD drive works very poorly, simple reading takes forever.   
   The burner works fine for reading but not for burning.   
      
   I have downloaded Helios which identifies the drives and after setting   
   up a project provides the option to burn the disk. It will set waiting   
   for a long time, then report that it is burning, but the burner itself   
   does nothing.   
      
   Any pointers to get this working would be appreciated.
