   Whoever refferred to Linux as the dark side...yes well, I wont' go there.   
   Everything no nix = wizard.

   On to what you asked...removing linux without formatting.   
      
   If you are indeed running linux on your map, type cfdisk   
   and delete the linux partition you're running...then re-write the new   
   partition table, next time you reboot..it's gone.  Would make more sense   
   for you just to reformat that partition with the new filesystem you   
   want to use from say beos's or windows installation program though.
