From: hunterg0000@yahoo.com              Whoever refferred to Linux as the dark side...yes well, I wont' go there.       Everything no nix = wizard.       everything nix = not wizard.              On to what you asked...removing linux without formatting.              If you are indeed running linux on your map, type cfdisk       and delete the linux partition you're running...then re-write the new       partition table, next time you reboot..it's gone. Would make more sense       for you just to reformat that partition with the new filesystem you       want to use from say beos's or windows installation program though.              JmS wrote:              >> 1) Is it worth my money to get v.4.0 and/or 4.5?       > Just for curiosity value.       >       >> 2) What's the differences between these versions?       > Don't bother with 4 or 4.5.       > Once i got 5, I never went back to 4.5       >       >> 3) Do apps written for v.5 generally work on older versions?       > Often.       >       >> 4) Does anyone know anything about removing Linux from a Mac without       >> formatting? |
