   i though VMWare 2-3 used a standard DEC/Intel card emulation...  that's   
   screwey to use an odd-ball pcnet.  maybe royalties got to be too much.   
   kinda sucks that Connectix Virtual PC was bought by Microsoft.  they   
   were working on a version for Linux.  that may explain why M$ bought it :)
