The 9600/200 uses a PPC 604 processor although that can be upgrade to a
G3 or even G4 processor card. I understand that the upgrade cards do
work with Be. I would of course like to see Be running on the Macs that
shipped with a G3 processor. The 200 in 9600/200 is reference to the
speed of the 604 processor. Does the Orange PC card you have installed
run Be. I have been looking for an Orange PC card for 8600 just to see
what all it can do. I understand that the Orange card is more flexible
with operating systems than the Apple DOS card which is limited to
   running variations of Windows.

There is an application AFPServer on BeBits that allows for file
sharing with Macs. I use it to connect an old X86 machine with Be
installed to my Mac OS X machine.
