   I suppose so, but variety was always the key to the PC's   
   sucess...although it's also the key to why LINUX isn't more   
   popular...too many half-finished, half-assed apps.

   The problem is that all these browsers are either half-implemented OR   
   actually support the web standards. Half the web is junked up with   
   crappy IE specific HTML now, so nothing ever looks quite right using   
   any broswer but IE.

   I don't think people think far enough to see the   
   ramifications. The PATRIOT Act was a dagger in the   
   heart, really, of even the concept of a democratic
