   Not that I am aware of with it. P&P is turned off in the bios, and I   
   haven't made any changes in bios, for at least a year. I reduced it down   
   to one stick of 128mb of ram, video card, the hard drive and the CD unit   
   but no change. The CD will stop its boot on either hard drive at the   
   same point with all but the last two icons lit, and then prompt me to   
   put the BeOS CD into the CD drive even though it is still in there.   
      
   It just hit me that maybe I need a CD cleaning disk for the the CD unit   
   itself too, and possibly a combination of the old BeOS disc condition   
   and lens dirt might be causing the problem LOL
