   Hi Don

I STILL would like to see the actual claims!

   For example, Handheld WHAT?

I have several HTs that require, short press, long press, double press
short and double press short/long, to activate certain functions.

Short press lights the backlit LED display (Or turns unit on if off).
   Long press turns unit off.
Double short brings up user menu.
Double press short/long brings up system menu.

And that's just ONE of the keys, many others work similarily to
perform certain features of the units.

In other words, the 'prior-art' has been in existance for a long time
   concerning hand held devices!
