   Well, that's what I would do, anyway. I tend to make backups obsessively,

   Honestly, I haven't used BeOS is a while. I think Stephen B. may be able to   
   help, though. Do you have any data you might lose if you re-install? I'm   
   putting Max 3 on one my machines soon, but I don't think I will know any   
   more after I do that.
