From: lalalalala@lalalalalala.lalala              Hello,              Ok, I know this does not have a driver, but I thought I'd post here and       try and divine why it does not so far. Problem is, it's quite a common       model, bundled with various xDSL packages in the UK, so support for it       would be nice. I understand that Philippe Houdoin was working on one,       but disbanded it, but I'm curious as to why this was the case.              Was it: Lack of decent USB support? Lack of time? Something else?              Would the chances of support for this model be better once the USB       support is added to Haiku, and most likely made available as a       replacement for R5?              Sorry for the barrage of questions, I've recently dusted off Beos and       lack of network support is a real bugger. I know about getting a router       and what not, but to be honest, it scares the crap out of me, and I'd       rather just plug my modem in and go, although I know I'll have to take       the router plunge at some point.              Once again, sorry for the deluge of questions, and thanks in advance.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
