   IN the case of Ubuntu - it manages very well.  For YDL, only until over the   
   last week they announced sleep mode with 4.0.1.  I could never get 4.0 to   
   work with my G3 Pismo's battery quite right.   
      
   So I would agree - it works well enough.  Not perfect by any stretch by my   
   experience!
