   How do you know that?  BeOS works fine for me for everything I am doing, and   
   since he did not state what he is using it for yet you really have no idea   
   wht his software needs are.

   Strange, I don't like Linux myself but I know lots of users who in no way   
   find it that hard.  Sounds like you used Linux in the 199x's and have not   
   seen a recent version.

   Only part of your message I could agree with.  Why no mention of cost   
   benefits/disadvantages?
