|    PCMCIA cards    |

From: wove@copper.net              I mainly use Be on PPC hardware and am trying to get Be working on a       ThinkPad 600. Be installs fine and runs very well, but I am unable to get       PCMCIA cards to work.              I purchased a Psion Gold card, which is listed as supported in the hardware       database. Using PC card wizard, it would seem that the system is aware the       card is there, but I can not get dialup networking to use the card.              I believe the probem is a resource conflict. In the devices preferences, I       find a conflict between DMA and PCMCIA controller, but I am at a loss to       know how to resolve the conflict and have everything still work.              I tried installing Be with the card inserted in the slot, but that just       causes a panic when the system starts. I am hoping someone might have some       insights on this matter.              thank you       bill       --       \/\/i||i@m ()\/e              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
