   It's not fool proof, but a browser can chase the domain that the   
   computer it's running on up to the public suffix and compare that to the   
   domain that it's connecting to.  If they have a commonality before the   
   public suffix, chances are fairly good that the computer and destination   
   site are in the same administrative control.
