There are       relative addressing instructions introduced in S/390       compared to S/370. I basically know nothing about       them because all my knowledge is at S/370 or at       most S/370XA.              The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to address       James's query - why aren't MVS load modules designed       to have a totally separate code section compared to       the data section?              Is it possible to do in S/390? I assume it is not possible       to do in S/370?              Thanks. Paul.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
