   I have had considerable success in modifying subc   
   (a public domain C90-subset) to at least be able to   
   compile PDOS-generic.   
      
   I have high hopes for this combination of public   
   domain OS and public domain C compiler.   
      
   My modified version can be found in subc*.zip in   
   custom.zip from http://pdos.org
