   yes, but this limits the size of all other partitions to 2^32-1 sectors.   
   all of my HDs are larger than 2TB (512 byte sectors), so I need GPT.   
   GPT allow for more than four start partitions (for future expansion).   
      
   I cannot remove a single question mark from your help :(
