   I don't have much to say in response to your message other than   
   that I think it's perfectly fine to dabble and see where your   
   interests take you; have at it! You are under no obligation to   
   become an expert in all areas. Enjoy yourself. :-)   
      
   Plan 9 is a fun system to work with and wrap your head around.   
   Nemo's notes are excellent (he wrote those for his students).
