   I don't fear it, i sometimes use UEFI.   
   Additionally, with Ubuntu, it is possible to boot on a legacy CSM   
   system from a GPT disk.   
   This is also the default of the Ubuntu installer. It creates GPT   
   partition tables instead of MBR, regardless if the system supports UEFI   
   or not.
