Reassigned print screen key for full screen       capture. Thanks again. I use screen capture a lot more often than I       realize.              It's possible the PrintScreen key always does something.              Next time, try pressing PrintScreen, then open Gimp and Paste.              If you have a Clipboard Manager, take a look in the GUI of the       Clipboard Manager and see if the clipboard is getting updated       when shift-PrintScreen is pressed.              It could be, if the key is unbound and not in use by a       clever dedicated application, you might still get some       usage from the key.              Another thing to note, some scumbag keyboard companies are       removing the PrintScreen/SysRq key. When buying a new       keyboard today, shop carefully. This is one reason, my other       computer has two keyboards. One keyboard has PrintScreen,       the new one does not, both keyboards are connected. One keyboard       sits on the top of the desktop PC case, the second keyboard       is located right under where the LCD monitor sits. You can never       have too many keyboards (apparently).               Paul              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
