Yes, I've come across that since my fresh installs. However, I think
the fresh installs were needed anyway. I've seen much improvement
watching video, especially live via the net, and my audio is no longer
acting strangely. Before the reinstallations, no matter how I set the
audio, it would default to headphones out instead of speakers upon
reboot. I never did find the solution to that. After the fresh
installs, it was no longer an issue.

22.04 by native installation isn't quite compatible with a couple of my
programs and had to switch back to X11 to get correct operation. I tried
Plasma KDE, but I started finding issues with it and uninstalled it
(with difficulty but it did seem to go ok in the end). My biggest
concern and task was getting displaycal (a program that does monitor
color calibration with a spyder) installed, but now that's working
flawlessly. So hopefully good now with 22.04.
