   Part of the reason my posted info may not have been the best is because I am a   
   pure amateur who has just enough knowledge to make it look like I know what   
   I'm doing.   
      
   Thanks to Red Hat 5.2 though,  I got a pretty good education.   
      
   The reason I thought to use the generic driver was because I once was working   
   on an ancient Mac in my shop and out of curiosity wanted to see if I could use   
   it with my network printer and the generic post script driver was fine.
