Language bar

   I installed "language support" for other languages.   
   But the language (font, key) bar only knows about English.   
   If I enable the other language in LibreOffice, it interacts with me in the   
   other language but only lets me type in ENglish.   
      
   THis seems to easy but strangely out of my reach
