It seems that Ubuntu upgrade has been simplified and people can simply
install like normal "upgrades" according to Ubuntu Wiki.
The release date is 25th April 2024 so be ready for the upgrade!!!
I have prepared a Flash Drive with Ubuntu 22.04.4 and upgrade this when
the official release comes out. I know it is very slow to run from a
flash drive but it is a test system. DON'T USE RUFUS to create a
persistent drive because it will destroy your hard disk. Instead just
"Install" in the normal way from a Ventoy live ISO on to a flash drive
but first disconnect the hard disks so that nothing gets written to it.
Persistent Disk method has never worked for me so I gave up on it.
