   Yes, I know how to install a printer.   
   It is used on many machines, both Windows and Linux.   
      
   My wife's machine is Win11 and I didn't have to do anything, the machine   
   booted up and it was there.   
      
   I'm taking it in for warranty today.   
      
   What confused me was that the first problem was that it would no longer   
   print from any phone. Originally there was nothing to setup, it was just   
   there.   
      
   Then it stopped being detected.   
      
   Printer still worked with all the computers>   
      
   Then, a week later, none of my Linux computers worked with the printer   
   but the Windows machines did.   
      
   Finally two days later, none of the Windows machines could detect the   
   printer any more. Neither network or USB   
      
   So the printer is defective, but I would have expected all to have   
   failed at once.
