   started using Linux in the early 2000s there was

   FluxBox   
   Sawfish   
   AfterStep   
   XFCE3   
   AnotherLevelUp   
   AmiWM

   just off the top of my head, I'm sure there are more I'm not   
   remembering from the early 2000s.
