Maybe even some systemd service edit.              If you have 24.04 (may work for earlier versions) you can install dconf       editor              sudo apt install dconf-editor              Then start Dconf              Go to /com/ubuntu/update-notifier              Toggle no-show-notifications to true              That said, I think you should update your system, and it is bad practice       not to do so. I would routinely check for updates, and it is simple to       make a simple shell script to do so and make a cron job to run when "off       hours". Or install cron-apt for a pre-canned option.              sudo apt install cron-apt              --       Take care,              Jonathan       -------------------       LITTLE WORKS STUDIO       http://www.LittleWorksStudio.com              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
