   I also deleted a few fonts.  Viewing the font list is horrible when you get to   
   the noto's.   
   But I only removed the ones that were horribly not English looking.  I wish I   
   had noted   
   it, one mistake I regret in that I've got an extensive list of what to do's on   
   a new   
   install, repeat installs in VMs and all.  And I didn't remove via synaptic but   
   by cherry   
   picking via nemo.  But so far so good for me.   I've got AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8840U   
   w/ Radeon 780M.
