But there ARE free providers available to you.              The idea being, using Mint and its agent Thunderbird and an account you       registered with eternal-september free nntp usenet provider, it would be       'easier' for your correspondence with this group.              But, I don't know exactly how you go about telnetting into your BBS. If       I were going to do it, my connectivity would be the same broadband cable       internet connection I use for browser. But maybe you use telnet via       dialup, which would be very slow for a browser which would make the       registration for free nntp service a problem.              The bottom line is, do you telnet by dialup or something faster?
