viewing a group of uninstalled fonts.

   I may be old, but I'm not that inept yet.   It sure should be a function of   
   Mint to open a   
   folder (and subs) and allow you to scroll through and see previews.  font   
   viewer and font   
   manager let you come close but won't present a list like you see in installed   
   fonts.   
      
   Should I turn of the PC and go back to sleep?  (no smart comments please).
