   I have never had a problem copying files from one installation to   
   another. This is how I do it.. Open the home folders on the target drive   
   and the source drive, then just slide the individual folders i.e   
   documents, videos, etc., from home (source) to home (target). It doesn't   
   matter if the LM versions are different.
