   Yes but no. There's too much weird stuff going on with computers. One   
   day scientists will be able to prove that computers can actually be in a

   Yes, ext4. All my disks/partitions are in ext4.

   No idea. Still it was strange that the copy seemed to be fine, as   
   Thunderbird could find my e-mails. However the .thunderbird folder was   
   nowhere to be found, the home directory was completely empty (and yes, I   
   checked the box "show hidden items").
