Volume Control

   When I have a source open, whether a video on a browser or a recording   
   or live broadcast from Mythtv, the volume is too low. When I open the   
   Pulseaudio volume control, the default settings appear to be 100%. i   
   need something like 133%.   
      
   I can move the slider but it doesn't stay. Is there somewhere that I   
   can change the default?
