   I used eudo dd if=/dev/sda of=/dev/nvme0n1 status=progress.   
      
   The original was in an intel NUC, oldish one, and I wanted to clone it   
   to a smaller drive after I reduced the size to that of the cloned drive.   
   It all went well with no errors, but even boot repair won't fix it and   
   now the |BIOS says there is no boot drive
