But       part of the market for those component parts, those       machines are being thrown out, so there are fewer people       looking for DDR3 sticks for a machine.              You could lift them off the curb and recycle the metal bits       to the iron monger. I don't know what kind of money you can earn       doing that. Taking apart PCs isn't cheap in terms of hours of labour.              We had recycling companies, and I think they were in it, for the items       turned in that could readily be sold. Carrying an inventory that isn't       moving, does not work for them.
