     What you say goes for *any* company (last time I checked, Linux wasn't   
   a company), whether in IT or other.   
      
     But this 'responsible adult' has no problems with any of the issues or   
   concerns you raise. Not with Microsoft, not with Google (including   
   Android), etc., etc,.   
      
     But yes, the ignorant[1]/clueless/stupid are at risk, from any and all   
   of them. News at eleven!
