     Perhaps your 'hearing' isn't all that good?   
      
     I'm not particularly fond of the Microsoft Store and use only a few   
   apps from it (my software mostly predates 'UWP' (outdated term) apps),   
   but the Microsoft Store is in no way "a barren desert".
