   That seems to crop up more often than I'd expect. I don't think I've   
   _ever_ had to "build from source" for Windows things (granted, I'm not   
   usually offered the _opportunity_, except things on github).

   Thirty or forty years ago, I might have liked that opportunity. Now, I   
   CBA. Not necessarily proud of that, but am certainly not alone (possibly
