   Thunderbird does Profile migration. It has a compatibility.ini file   
   in each folder. As long as you move from say, 52.3 to 115.0 (positive   
   direction), it will migrate the mail files OK. You would expect it   
   to fumble the handling of password storage (the automated login is   
   unlikely to work and will require some work on your part).   
      
      "In the Run dialog box, type: thunderbird -P   
       You can use -P, -p or -ProfileManager (any of them should work)."
