   That's a nice anecdote, but the world has changed somehow. That guru is   
   now a keyboard warrior. However, there are still people offering real   
   help. Also, the community has made many online manuals and (lucky for   
   me) YT videos.   
      
   I usually try to search first, but when you're at the source it's   
   tempting to ask the (seemingly) easy questions.
