   More specifically, the commonplace gap between the transmitter's   
   'attempt' to transmit irony or sarcasm, but somewhere along the way the   
   irony/sarcasm didn't register correctly on the receiver.   
      
   Then, the blame-game is on the transmitter, the medium, or the receiver;
