   I recently replaced TeamViewer for RustDesk on Windows and gave it a   
   trial run on a laptop that runs under Linux Mint. It's the same   
   principle as TeamViewer: guest provides ID and password. If you want,   
   then you can run your own server, but it isn't required.   
      
   If you're using the free version of TeamViewer, then it will disconnect   
   after a certain period. I don't think RustDesk does the same.
