   I look at it this way. Halv was clever enough to figure out   
   how to post to USENET. That means Halv is smart enough to   
   do a MintUpgrade :-)   
      
   No matter what OS you use, if you know how to make backups,   
   even dangerous experiments can be tried. You then restore   
   from backup, if something bad happens.   
      
   I have backups in case of storage device failures.   
   And once I figure out how to do that, I can also   
   use backups for "safety backups" before a MintUpgrade.
