|    Film / Slide Scanner    |

From: timw@nomailta.co.uk              I want to scan a small quantity of negatives as I sort through some old       family stuff, and turn them into jpegs. I once had a slide scanner I       think from Lidl which was perfectly good enough for my purposes. I       chucked it out when I couldn't get it to work on any windows after XP,       let alone linux.              I am thinking I might be on a hiding to nothing hoping that any of the       cheap consumer type scanners I can buy will work on linux mint. Is there       any way of even knowing if they will work? Will some of them have       generic drivers and just work? Are any known to work?              TW              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
