   Ubuntu is the King of snaps. You get snaps if you get anywhere near Ubuntu,   
   which includes all its derivatives if snap has not been removed.   
      
   In this case one can consider sanpd a dependency and thus you get it   
   installed along with the snap version of Firefox.   
      
   Ubuntu sees all pagakges as snaps. Well not quite but Ubuntu would like it   
   to be it this way.
