   The Core version (free) is 3.5GB promised in the download,   
   so it cannot be an exact copy of Ubuntu (somewhere around   
   a 6GB download due to SNAPs). Zorin has that much going for it.   
      
   But you would really want to remove the quiet and splash from   
   GRUB and watch the text-based start for things you like or   
   don't like. The live media is a bit slow because it hashes (checksums)   
   everything. I gave it 12GB of RAM in the VM and cut it down   
   to two cores, in an attempt to "perk it up". It wasn't perky   
   on a normal diet of RAM. Hard to say exactly what is going on there.

   I wish there was a bench that could quantify "perky" :-)   
      
   I have a physical install around here... somewhere. the usual   
   organization of materials problem.
